Synopsis for The Orphans of Clover Street

Orphaned thirteen years old Darin Dale is homeless. And together he and a girl he meets on the streets of Gauley, Carley Dice, make scraps and ends meet. When he gets a late Christmas gift in an envelope on the twenty sixth of December, he merely tells Carley he would be back. The gift promises a better world in Clover Street through Clever Street. And the journey he would have will take him to a place where love is abandoned by orphans abandoned in their world once they agree to be under the dutiful command of Henry Holy, a wizard of gentlemanly statures. If Darin chooses not to stay he could never go back. He must decide whether to help the beautiful rebel named Cayla save the hearts and minds of the orphans of Clover Street from the opportunistic wizard or go back to the pretty Carley, back to homelessness.
