Dare is the nine year old adopted by Mr. and Mrs Esan when they could not have a child of their own. Lola is the miracle six year old born after the adoption. Together they couldn’t be more different and their pranks on each other makes for great adventures. When Dare tosses Lola’s lucky coin into the drain, it is a different lesson in history through the tossing lens.

Lola finds a note in the Trealdust filled hourglass gifted to her by the Lobes. The note contains a set of instructions on how to use a Sundial with the Tossing Lens to achieve a mission. She is certain she made a mistake keeping the gift. But Dare is sure it is a way for them to repay his debts to the Grandioles. They must decide whether to take the chance to help find the Trademaker’s trail.
