When Ester Clark walked out of the Terry woods alive and speaking, Terry Hills is excited. She has cuts all over her body made from a sharpened wooden stick. INE Agent Brandon Nard is called off mission to a less than usual unpaid mission. His brother, Christopher, a quadriplegic, has decided to undergo embryonic neural tube implantation. The delicate procedure requires a two weeks medical reprieve, and a second timely reprieve from The Reclaimers. The Reclaimers are a Christian militia rumored organized by Special Ops veteran Henry Gross, the senator of Mississippi who had fought passionately against the legalization of the procedure. Their objective is to return the embryonic life form to God. The reclaiming process involves the savage surgical removal of the spine of the recipient, a life for a life and for any life that stands in between. Only one out of five recipients has survived The Reclaimers. Brandon stands the main life between his brother’s life and The Reclaimers with deathly determination. He has good reasons to make up for his past transgressions, one of which is the bomb that left Christopher quadriplegic. It was meant for him.

A human life is never something easy to reckon with, whether prezygotic or postzygotic, such i predicted this war was here to say. And my first book related interaction with it was through a futuristic surgical process which implemented both notions and discussions of abortion at large when pitted against the hard core anti-abortion Conservative group The Reclaimers. If you haven’t read The Reclaimer’s Reprieve, you haven’t read a Scifi/Action-Adventure book on abortion. I promise. Next a reintroduction.
