“I do not see it as difficult anymore; direct involvement is a necessity. Sometimes preservation must be made in both essence and presence. I do not want people who don’t value what they read to be able to afford my books. I never intend my books to be merely entertaining anymore. I want a few who value what they read and what life and thoughts goes into it to buy my books. Anywhere i am in the future, my living room is enough to start a discussion. They can either come back or not come back. They can either tell their friends or not tell their friends. The next time they come back, my book is the ticket. If they buy directly from me they get a discount. I don’t want to waste any nogood time anymore. I am responsible for my thoughts and my words. If I am not author and publisher, you can’t read. Ultimately numeric evaluation is not my focus, real readers are.”
