SEC accuses Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange of breaking US regulations
Previously the SEC and Coinbase had a close working relationship. The crypto exchange set out to contrast itself from competitors by working with regulators, rather than trying to fight or evade them. In recent years, that relationship has frozen over, and in April Coinbase sued the SEC to try to force the regulator explicitly to legalise crypto securities.
My readers, I have never imagined I will agree with crypto, but what are truly needed are legislation and regulations. Sue a few when all the CRYPTO HEADS ARE GUILTY? What’s that bit about? What working relationship? It’s like a criminal and a cop being best friends. That was never gonna work. My readers, do you agree or disagree?
