Incomparable

Found a book on the history of ethics today. And here is Plato foreseeing the future. It’s strange. And not strange. As there is nothing more admirable and desirable in general relativity than  ia decent sense of personal  virtue. It incomparable.

It is better to suffer torture on the racks than to have a soul burdened with the guilt of doing evil.
