On the Titan’ Titanic and the Limiting Factor

Read “The only manned submersible that could reach the missing Titan is owned by Steam’s Gabe Newell” on SmartNews: https://l.smartnews.com/p-wfZTd/x1cLi9

My readers, what a smart name to call a submersible vessel. The “Limiting Factor”. Which brings this slight confusion; does the excerpt say there is no visible way “to transfer anyone from one craft to another that depth without destroying both”…? Ooops physics way…? Physical way…? Is it feasible way…? It must be smart science talk for “Prognosis practically dead”. Science, amazing.

Sadly, even if Limiting Factor did reach Titan, it’s unlikely to be able to rescue those on board. There is no feasible way to transfer anyone from one craft to another that depth without destroying both. Even so, simply locating Titan in order to work out what might have happened to it would be useful information and provide some closure to the victims’ families if the worst has indeed happened.

My readers, wherever you are in the world, I will never want to hide a book like CTTD in print versions behind some backdoor at a Bluesie jazz comedy fest. Do not make me something other than human and humane with my books. Give your support. CTTD has been a lesson in law. Justice must be achieved. Give your support and hold on to the relativity.
