A definition of evil

With no obvious motive, Detective Superintendent Paul Hughes, who led the investigation into Letby, said her ‘confession’ note is the only real explanation for her horrendous crimes. He said: “She clearly loves the attention, I think she loved the attention of a trial as well. But if we are looking for why she’s done this, then to re-use her own words, ‘she is evil and she did this’,” he said. The post-it note this was found on had the heading “NOT GOOD ENOUGH”, and was found among a trove of other incriminating evidence.

Although some truly evil people say they do not know what evil is, there is always definition for evil beyond the lexical or primary definition. If you don’t know what evil is, you can never know whether you are actively that or not. You are evil. On and beyond the line of indifference, you are evil. My readers, to my primary definition of evil.

Anyone who takes pleasure in the suffering of others is inherently and definitively evil.

You must realize here my readers that the knowledge of it is definitively important. Without the knowledge of it in this way, it cannot exist. They are looking for a secondary reason. For instance, it’s crazy when something is always “BETTER BUT NEVER GOOD ENOUGH”…
