A whole lifetime (without quotation marks)

Letby, 33, who murdered seven newborn babies and tried to kill six more, will die in prison after receiving a whole life sentence at Manchester crown court on Monday. Now officers from Operation Hummingbird, the investigation into the evil nurse, have provided a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their six-year inquiry, via a Cheshire Police YouTube video.

This case has befuddled me my readers. I could hardly have written a mystery like this. It seemed too wicked, too evil to be realistic but such is life. Letby, a prime example that what looks innocent is merely in looks, gets a whole lifetime (because English punishment is usually very lenient, a whole lifetime tells you of the degree of offence). She will die in prison.
