There are times when everything is pained and everything is paiInful all the same and I have to stay in my helplessness and loneliness all the same. I don’t think I ever come out of that. And from that my strength is immense. It is not something feeble minds can wave away. If you have a penny of my money, I suggest you give it back.

My readers, wherever you are in the world, I will never want to hide a book like CTTD in print versions behind some backdoor at a Bluesie jazz comedy fest.
