When things become simple and simplified, some discoveries are worth their weight in treasures unknown. Proximal presences matter. That can sometimes be a wiser than smarter way of looking at life. It is a human way. I am ripe, ripened and well intended, I seek nothing trivial. My fairy tales are long dead, perfection means nothing to me, and my relativity must be reasonably endearing or I don’t have them. I love and will forever love that Emersonian saying about friendships–“My friends come to me unsought.” Emerson also believed good spirits are drawn to good spirits. My readers, from the very essence of my being, I fervently hope he is correct.
