It should be apparent that this defect is present in capitalism as well—as commerce forces people to be sociable. Less frequently so because capitalism also forces competition? And under duress, for competitive advantage and privilege, this great defect may raise its extremely monstrous head?

Group-think is an ego affliction detached from any viable rational source. It never pronounces itself out loudly. But it is in every group-certified distinct and solemn individual directive to conform to some unspoken prejudicial code—the failure to rationalize or resolve an actionable-dilemma made on behalf of a group’s social belief system.
